Follow city centre signs marked TW to find your way to our 1,000 space secure car park. Sat nav for our centre is WF1 1QQ (follow the signs when close). The main entrance is on Marsh Way (A61) and it is open 24 hours. There is also a car park entrance by Asda Living. Disabled parking and wider parent & child parking bays are located on the ground level close to Sainsbury's. Careful though, height restrictions apply throughout the car park and unfortunately cannot accommodate oversized vehicles.
Like a deal? Just spend £10 or more in our Sainsbury's or become a member of PureGym and get your ticket validated in store/gym to get the first 2 hours parking free, meaning £1.60 will be deducted from your total parking charge.
Standard parking charges from 6am - 6pm Monday to Saturday (updated charges in bold):
Up to 1 hour £0.90
Up to 2 hours £1.60
Up to 3 hours £2.40
Up to 4 hours £3.40
Up to 5 hours £5.00
Over 5 hours - £1 per additional hour
Over 12 hours - £2 per additional hour
Parking charge on Sundays, Bank Holidays and evenings (evenings classed as 6pm to 6am) is just 50p.
Parking charges apply to all vehicles, including Blue Badge Holders and are in line with other car parks in Wakefield city centre.
Lost tickets are charged at the full day rate of £12.
Motorbikes can park here for free, we suggest using the Asda entrance and buzzing the car park barrier on arrival. The largest motorbike parking area is behind the car park pay stations near Sainsbury's, by the tall pink elevator block. There are also a limited number of spaces on the left as you enter.
There's space for up to 100 cycles to park for free around the centre too. The height restriction of our car park is 2.1 metres, please don't try to get in if your vehicle is higher.
We do offer a maximum of 15 minutes free discretionary parking for dropping off or collecting people from the centre - just enter your ticket into the exit barrier rather than pay station within this time (or you will be charged). But please note that any stay beyond 15 minutes will be subject to standard charges.
