An award-winning community cricket scheme is set to hit Trinity Walk for six this Spring Bank Holiday!
Carpark Cricket, a Sport England-funded initiative which offers fun training sessions from qualified coaches in urban spaces, will be giving free skills taster sessions to all ages this half term.
The scheme is supported by West Yorkshire Sport and helps to promote health and wellbeing; community cohesion; and environmental sustainability, whilst offering people a route into longer term participation in cricket.
The sessions will take place outside Fit24 from 9.30am every day from Saturday 23rd to Saturday 30th May.
All ages are welcome and anyone interested in taking part can register at www.carparkcricket.com/register or simply drop in during the day. There are also volunteer positions available, check out the wesbite for more details.
