A massive 32 metre² LED full HD screen has been installed at Trinity Walk by Ram Vision. The screen, which is the largest LED screen to be installed in a shopping centre outside London, has been manufactured by Yaham and utilises award winning Nichia LEDs.
Located in the heart of the centre – which opened in May last year (2011) – the screen overlooks Grammar Square, Trinity Walk’s continental style café and restaurant area where tenants include Pizza Express, Esquires, The Chinese Buffet and Handmade Burger Company (opening Spring 2012). The screen is also visible from the scheme’s important Market Way entrance, which links directly to the city’s market hall and bus station.
One of only three new shopping centres that opened in 2011, Trinity Walk has now welcomed over six million visitors since opening (one million in December alone) and transformed the city into a new sub-regional shopping destination, bringing shoppers in from far and wide.
Paul Masterson, Ram Vision’s Commercial Director explains:
“The big screen is a fantastic platform for capturing people in their leisure time, which is when messages are most likely to sink in. As with all our screens, the iconic is located in a premium viewing position, above eye level and un-obscured by any retail fixtures and fittings.”
Trinity Walk’s centre manager, Susan Mendoza, adds:
“Our new screen provides the ideal advertising platform for a range of organisations, ranging from major national brands to local businesses. It has been installed in one of the most prominent positions in Trinity Walk and adds to the buzzy atmosphere.”
