FIT24 GYM JOINS LINEUP

Gym operator Fit24 has taken a fifteen-year lease on a 23,000 sq ft unit at Trinity Walk in Wakefield, the 500,000 sq ft shopping centre developed by Sovereign Land, Area Property Partners and Shepherd Construction. Work has now started fitting out the new state-of-the-art gym, which will overlook Grammar Square – Trinity Walk’s restaurant and café area.

BIG SCREEN INSTALLED

A massive 32 metre² LED full HD screen has been installed at Trinity Walk by Ram Vision. The screen, which is the largest LED screen to be installed in a shopping centre outside London, has been manufactured by Yaham and utilises award winning Nichia LEDs.

FIVE NEW OPENINGS

The past week has seen a flurry of openings at Trinity Walk, with Argos, River Island, Pulp, Panini Shack and Pizza Express, all opening their doors. The five join the list of exciting stores at Wakefield’s new shopping centre – which already includes the city’s first modern department store, Debenhams, as well as a 117,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s, fashion retailers H&M, New Look, Next, Peacocks, Topshop, Topman, Republic, JD, Bank, Dorothy Perkins and Burtons and many more.
