Located on Wakefield’s historic waterfront, the Hepworth is Yorkshire’s landmark gallery for the visual and creative arts, housing a variety of exhibitions including some rare pieces by Wakefield’s acclaimed sculptor Barbara Hepworth.
The gallery is the largest purpose-built public exhibition space outside of London and more than 400,000 people have marvelled at the gallery’s unique architecture and collection of artwork since it opened on 21st May 2011.

132,500 people are employed at 9,964 workplaces in Wakefield.
